What does Football Boosters do?
The West Chester East Football Boosters is a non-profit organization made up of
parents whose goal is to provide support for the West Chester East Football
Team. We provide support for the Viking football program through fundraisers and
team-spirit activities. This is accomplished through parents’ dedicated and
countless volunteer hours. The fundraising allows boosters to subsidize the cost
of football camp, purchase training equipment, weight equipment, video
recording, uniforms, and provide a celebration banquet, plus more.
Our fundraising efforts include: an annual golf outing, game program
advertisements and sales, 50/50 raffle, lift-a-thon, varsity gold card sales, and
booster membership. We also support our football players with fun activities
throughout the year, such as, pasta dinners, pizza dinner, hoagie day, & spirit
buttons. We are grateful for the support we receive from parents, coaches and
community, as without this support we would not have the excellent program we
have today.
When does the Boosters meet?
There are typically two Booster membership meetings. One meeting is in
springtime and the second meeting is at the end of August right before season
starts.
