Mission Statement

The WCASD Elementary Math Mission is to teach math using a
standards-based, sequential, and vertically-connected curriculum.
Teachers will develop and promote a deep understanding of math
concepts and processes with their students; students will actively
apply and communicate mathematical understanding. The WCASD Elementary
School Mathematics Program will provide all students with
opportunities to become successful, life-long problem solvers and
learners, and equip them to face the challenges of a technology-driven
information age. |
