About Mrs. Bushnell...
Background:
I grew up about twenty minutes from West Chester in Brookhaven, Pennsylvania. I loved school while I was growing up, so much that I decided to become a teacher. Although it is difficult to choose my favorite subject, I enjoy math and science. As I went to all public schools, I believe firmly in the public school system. There is so much that it has to offer our students!
Experience:
This school year is my third year teaching as a Gifted Resource Teacher at Starkweather, I was a long term substitute in the gifted program at Fern Hill Elementary. Prior to that, I taught fourth grade at Wilmington Friends School in Wilmington, DE.

Franklin and Marshall College, BA Biology
Rosemont College, MA Currliculum, Instruction and Assessment
Currently taking course in gifted education through the University of Connecticut.
