Penn Wood Feeder Watch Program

  Join us in the research and fun of monitoring our wintering bird population found at Penn Wood Elementary School.  This page will list birds directly observed at our feeder stations. Our bird lists will be listed by months. Please e-mail  the name of birds you have observed at Penn Wood to jmaxwell@wcasd.net and we will update our list to reflect your observations. We keep three feeding areas maintained with specific food to attract a variety of birds.

Our program is part of the Cornell University Feeder Watch program.  Penn Wood students can contribute to the data  being collected on birds, helping scientists to get a broader picture of the overall health of bird populations.
